Born in France in 1948 the original Mitchell 300 became one of the most famous fishing reels ever all around the world . Now it's back and with the look and feel of the original but produced using modern production technology and materials . The front drag is based on the very first model but with a specific and innovative hollow bail for superior strength and line management and the familiar egg shaped body is made from extremely strong advanced polymeric material which is stronger than graphite and lighter than alumunium .
