The Short Head Spey line from Rio is an easy casting traditional spey line , designed to load quickly and make it simple to cast in confined spaces . Head length varies with size , between 42ft - 50ft and the rear loaded weight distribution makes for effortless casts . Ideal for casters moving up from shorter Scandi and Skagit heads , the longer head lengths allow for less stripping at the end of each cast which means your fly is fishing for longer and you have less loose line to handle and shoot . Fitted with a 15ft floating versitip which is fully interchangeable for greater depth control .
